The book traces the descendants of Jonathan who lived in the mid 1600's in Marblehead, Essex County, MA. His son James was born ca 1665, died 1729 and married Joanna Barnes. Some of the other names that married into Fabens family are Vinning, Lebber, Reed, Allen, Bowden, Henderson, Gray, Holman, Lang, Symonds, Morse, Laskey, Ashby, Curtis, Gaffney, Dyer, Flagg, Bacon, Upton, Matheny, Stone, Tarrant, Newcomb, Mansfield, Garrishand Perkins.
